Anna Lotan tuli kosmetoloogia alale 50. aastate alguses. Kosmetoloogiat, dermatoloogiat ja kosmeetiliste ainete tootmist õppis Anna Lotan Saksamaal, Austrias ja Prantsusmaal. Professionaalsetes ringkondades on Anna Lotan tuntud kui originaalse sügavpuhastusmeetodi looja. Just tema soovitas kasutada naturaalseid taimseid kolloide naha ettevalmistamiseks järgnevale puhastusele ja võttis kasutusele termini “jahe niisutamine”.

70-ndate aastate lõpus lõpetas Anna Lotan praktiseeriva kosmetoloogi karjääri ja rajas oma kosmeetilise tööstuse. Tänapäeval kuuluvad talle kaks firmat–“Anna Lotan Ltd.” ja “Israderm Ltd.”. Laboratooriumid ja vabrik mis traditsiooniliselt spetsialiseeruvad ravikosmeetika tootmisel, asuvad Iisraeli ühes ilusaimas paigas Keisaarias

Anna Lotani toodete suureks väärtuseks on toimeainete looduslik päritolu: muinasjutuline Surnumeri mis pidavat sisaldama kogu Mendelejevi tabelit ja taimed- nii kaktused kui ka muud eksootilised liigid. Loomulikult sisaldavad tema loodud kosmeetikatooted ka meile ammu tuntud ja äraproovitud taimi nagu saialill, aaloe, punane päevakübar, siberi astelpaju jne.

Anna Lotan laboratooriumite poolt väljatöötatud tooteid kasutatakse edukalt akne, psoriaasi, kuperoosa ja teiste nahavaeguste leevendamiseks. Neid kasutatakse ka profülaktiliseks nahahoolduseks.

Anna Lotan mõtles välja “Jaheda Niisutuse Protseduuri”- Naha sügavpuhastuse mis ei nõua eelnevat vaporisatsiooni. See metoodika leidis laia tunnustuse Venemaa kosmetoloogide seas ning on antud hetkel kasutuses akadeemiku Pavlovi nimelise S-Peterburi Riikliku Ülikooli Kosmetoloogia Õppetooli kavas. Jaheda niisutamise protseduur välistab põletikke, punaseid laike ja paha tuju.
